Pepper Sweet (Capsicum annuum)
‘Piquillo’ is an annuum type originating in Northern Spain. The 7cm long sweet fruits are high in Vitamin C and used extensively for Spanish ‘Tapas’ where they are roasted then skinned before being stuffed with meat, seafood or cheese.
